• Slip rings

SPM Special Machine offers a complete range of slip rings for data and power transmission. Our rotary joints are highly resistant, made of steel with an IP 66 protection rating.

This type of product is designed for potentially explosive atmospheres. In fact, the casing of our slip rings is constructed in such a way that the gas enters inside, but in the event of contact between this and the ignition source, the resulting explosion is contained within. The combustion gases escape through special joints created between the different parts of the casing. These joints are designed so that the flame, as it exits the casing, cools and only the product of combustion reaches the outside when cooled and is unable to ignite the surrounding atmosphere.
