OPS(On shore power supply)is a motor cable reel with power supply. It comes in two versions (Ship and Harbour Dock).
Its power supply system electrically connects the ship moored in the harbour using a medium-voltage electrical station (10/100 KV) located near the harbour.
Thanks to OPS systems, ships can switch off their engines while docked, and connect to a shore power source. The ship’s energy load is transferred to the shore power grid with no interruption to onboard operations.
